I once read somewhere that atoms never really touch -- we are fields meeting fields and thought of those who hadn't touched in years, yet distinctly remember a touch. How the late autumn wind periodically reawakens the space between them - pheromones, soap, and half-sweated fabric like a stagnant stair-well with their meetings. A preservation and collapse of linear at once - how it sometimes carries a new scent, but always over the old. How after a single touch there is the story of them going where it goes - a thought and no thought, here and gone. A thaumatrope of them. The years of them vs a touch. Waiting like the acquired weightlessness of a pile of laundry, an open door spilling with them.

WHAT HAS IT GOT IN IT'S POCKETS – The Meme Another of my five minute character development memes to make you think a bit more about aspects of your character you wouldn't normally consider. As with all of my memes, the more you put into this the more you get out of it. You might even learn new things about your character and world. It's in the name.
